Where Can I Find a Good Writing Outline Format?

By Hilary Keaton
Many people do not know where to begin when it comes to creating a book - so using a writing outline format is a good place to start. The following tips have been assembled to help you write a book or report, or even a work of fiction. Hopefully, by following these simple steps you will have written your book in no time. Step One - Research

Market research involves learning about your target market, and discovering whether your idea for an eBook is a subject in which people are interested. Collect as much information as you can. Use a Mind Map to help you come up with ideas for your book. The more you know upfront, the easier the actual writing will be.

Step Two - Work Out a Title

Jot down a few ideas. It doesn't have to be final, but a working title certainly helps to bring an eBook to fruition.

Step Three - Mindmap to Outline

Turn the ideas from your Mindmap into Chapter Headings. Break the chapter headings down into subheadings - and add any notes for yourself as you go along.

Step Four - Write

Since you've prepared well in advance in Steps One to Three, writing will now be a whole lot easier. Simply get down the words you want to say in more or less the right order by following your outline, and here's the trick: do not edit at all until you've written the first draft. Forget spellings and grammatical concerns. Don't even read what you've written. Just get the whole book typed up first.

Step Five - Corrections

Now is the time to make any corrections to your text. Ask a few people for an honest appraisal, and accept or leave their advice accordingly. Either way, their feedback could be very useful, and because these people will not be as close to your work as you, they can offer an objective critique.

Step Six - Get a Cover & Good Formatting

You can either create an eBook cover yourself or hire a graphic designer.

Remember to present your text neatly and attractively e.g. add sidebars, bullet points, pictures, Table of Contents, and keep plenty of 'white space'.

It's not too difficult to come up with a writing outline format. By Charles K. Falkner
So you want to be a writer? Not just any kind, mind you, but the type that gets published? Well, you're in luck. In fact, anyone born in this day and age is in luck. Getting published is now easier than ever and it's all thanks to digital publishing. Because of digital publishing, anyone can write and get read. Every day, lots of eBooks get written and marketed. It is even possible that while you are reading this, someone somewhere is writing an eBook, googling how to publish eBooks, or is already marketing an eBook. If you want to jump into the bandwagon, know that while anyone can write an eBook, not everyone can get people to buy their work. You see, not all who publish their eBooks actually profit from their work. If you want to be one of those who do, you will surely benefit from David Lovelace's advice. In his 'InfoProduct Creation Guide', he shares how you can publish eBooks that generate income quickly and consistently. His tips and techniques go straight to the point. He does not give you fluff or information that you already know or could easily find out on your own.

What does Lovelace know that you do not? Well, for starters, he can tell you the subjects that people are always looking for information for. When you publish eBooks on these subjects, you already have a guaranteed audience. Then, he shows you how you can publish an eBook without writing a single word. More importantly, he shares how you can market your eBook effectively and efficiently. Remember the saying that artists and writers starve in the gutters in honor of their craft? Well, that's no longer true now. Writing can be a lucrative enterprise, too, and you will soon find out just how lucrative when you read Lovelace's guide and start to publish eBooks yourself!

Enjoy a Free Book Cover Template Download!

By Hilary Keaton
Are you looking for a free book cover template download but don't know where to start? Or have you got something more specific in mind, for example, looking to design a great cover but don't know how?

Here are a few tips to help you make a great looking book complete with attractive cover - just by using a free book template.

It may sound harder than it is. But all you have to know is how to click and 'cut & paste'. Once you're in the driver's seat you'll be surprised at how simple it is. So sit back, read the tactics and let's drive. Firstly, a book template doesn't have to be used 'as is'. You can modify the look of your book without compromising on quality. Don't like the page numbering in the header? Cut and Paste it to the footer. Need a sidebar? Add it. Want to use a frame around the picture on the cover? Modify it. The point is, even though you start off with a book template, you can still make your book 100% unique.

For the body copy? Once your chapters are written, simply drop them into the book template. You don't have to spend hours deciding where to place text, how to set up a Table of Contents, how to create a cover, or add page numbers etc. A good book template takes care of all that.

Finally, have fun with the Color and Font options. Switching to a different color scheme, and/or changing fonts and sizes in the design, will create a different feel to the overall look of your book. This is a very easy way to maintain quality whilst picking colors and fonts that work best for your specific publication.

Designing a book neither requires weeks of professional training nor paying for expensive software. Try out the tactics above and take advantage of a free book cover template download, and you will quickly realize that you can create a professional looking book in no time at all - and best of all, it won't cost you a dime! And now I would like to invite you to download your free book cover template.
